Lakewood Golf Club - Dogwood Point Clear, Alabama

GOLF AT THE LAKEWOOD GOLF CLUB
36 Holes of rich history and natural beauty

Lakewood Golf Club, a sparkling resort member of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, had it's beginnings in 1944. Perry Maxwell, designer of the Tulsa Southern Hills Country Club and site of the 2001 U.S. Open, brought his extraordinary skills at Lakewood. His creations, Dogwood and Azalea, opened in 1947 and were the first professional quality courses in south Alabama. Rolling fairways and tight greens, spring fed lakes, meandering streams and stands of mature trees make the 36 holes of Lakewood both beautiful and challenging. You'll feel the rich history of Lakewood as you play beneath 200 year old oaks down a carpet of green, past crystal clear lakes and streams. Recent updates, renovations and ongoing world-class grounds maintenance assure your experience is cutting-edge on this historic course.
