The city of Fort Payne recently purchased the DeSoto Golf Course and has re-opened it as a public course. It is a 9-hole regulation length golf course and this short layout will reward good shots and provide a fun golf outing for everyone. The terrain is rolling with a lake that comes into play. It features 3,007 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. There's an additional set of men's tees when playing an eighteen hole round.The DeSoto Golf Course also features a beautiful banquet hall that is available for rental and an outdoor pool.
