Del Webb opened the golf course for play in November of 1983 - the Clubhouse in May of 1985. Del Webb's vision was to provide a unique golfing and social experience with camaraderie for its members. Briarwood has earned the distinction of being one of the friendliest clubs in the Valley and our members have become friends for a lifetime. For our members, Briarwood is their home "away-from home", a place to connect, relax and enjoy life.

We are justifiably proud of our traditional, uncrowded golf course with beautiful, tree lined fairways and Tees ranging from 6600 yards to 4553 yards...a Tee to fit everyone's game. Briarwood golf course was designed by Greg Nash and was opened for play in November 1983. Greg is noted for building golf courses that can be enjoyed by all, and, courses that don't penalize a good shot. Whether you are a beginner or an avid golfer, you will never get tired of playing Briarwood.
Golfing at Briarwood is unequalled - it has "unending" events for men, women and couples. Ladies' groups offer golf for both eighteen and nine hole players on Tuesday and Thursday. Men have organized play on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, plus team play with other private clubs in the area. New members are always welcomed into the Club and can easily meet people through our many golfing and social events.
