A Little History...

Where cotton fields and orange groves once dominated the desert landscape, rolling fairways and manicured greens now comprise what we know as Union Hills Country Club and Golf Course.

Created by Dell Webb Corporation, the golf course was opened for play on a semi-public basis in the mid-1970's, with the Pro Shop located in a temporary structure. Residential areas on the perimeter of the course were still under construction.

In the ensuing years, the clubhouse, swimming pool and tennis courts were completed, and, in November 1978, Del Webb transferred ownership of the club to the agreed upon 400 charter members and some 500 social members.

Since then, the members, mostly retirees from throughout the USA, have pooled their many diversified talents and years of experience to build a club where they can share mutual interests in sports and social activities, and most importantly, in good fellowship, care and concern for one another.
