THE ULTIMATE SOUTHERN ESCAPE

For the avid golfer, a trip to The Inn at Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina is a journey to nirvana.

Designed to challenge golfers of all skill levels, the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Course meanders through the May River Forest and features wide, inviting fairways with strategic bunkers and natural waste areas. Champions Bermuda greens, well guarded by white-sand bunkers, test your nerves, while gently undulating slopes challenge your putting skills. All tee boxes and fairways feature Paspalum, the newest eco-friendly turf.

Caddie service is required with each round, and we encourage you to walk the course so you can best appreciate the beautiful native landscape.
Take in the majesty of century-old live oaks and serene native landscapes as you linger on the scenic, 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Course. Woven throughout the May River Forest are 7,171 yards, with several holes on the banks of the river. Plus, enhance your game in the world-class practice facility. Golf South Carolina and treat yourself to the ultimate golf paradise.

Built some 35 years after nearby Harbour Town Golf Links, May River is an interesting contrast in Jack Nicklaus's portfolio, an equally low-profile layout with a number of bump-and-run approach shots but with several Pine Valley-like waste areas. It has a classic routing with the first nine turning clockwise through forest, the back nine circling counter-clockwise and both touching repeatedly on the wetlands of namesake May River.
